2025 National Trial Results

Specialty Multi-Nutrient Boosters & Stress Management Products

Season 2025 has further strengthened the case for integrating targeted nutrient efficiency and stress mitigation strategies into Australian broadacre systems.

At Active AgriScience, research and development sits at the centre of product design. Our specialty multi-nutrient boosters combine balanced nutrition with INTRINSIC™, our patented stress-management molecule, developed to help crops better manage abiotic stress events throughout the growing season.

While these technologies have delivered consistent profitability in Canada, validating performance under Australian conditions has been a key priority since entering the market. From 2019–2025, we have undertaken extensive local validation including:

  • Small-plot replicated trials.
  • Independent agronomic assessments.
  • In-paddock grower demonstration strips.
  • Multi-season, multi-location validation.

The objective remains clear: deliver profitable, sustainable and practical solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing farming systems.

National Overview: 2019–2025

Across cereals, canola and pulses, results continue to demonstrate measurable yield responses under Australian growing conditions.

Our flagship seed treatment, Active PRIME, is now applied to well over 100,000 hectares nationally, reflecting strong grower confidence and repeat adoption.

For growers equipped with liquid systems, Active INFURROW has been developed to support early crop establishment through targeted in-furrow nutrition. Early Australian trial work has also indicated additional compatibility benefits when used alongside soil wetters in moisture-limited environments.

Stress mitigation has proven to be particularly valuable in recent seasons.

  • Active BUILD has shown consistent capacity to reduce visible herbicide “lag” effects and support crops through early vegetative stress events.
  • Active FLOWER has demonstrated benefits during pollination in canola and lentils, supporting reproductive efficiency.
  • Active GRAINFILL has supported improved grain fill in cereals, contributing to heavier seed weight and improved harvest outcomes.
  • Active PLS continues to show strong performance in lentil programs.

Importantly, responses have been recorded across variable rainfall patterns, reinforcing the role of stress management alongside nutrient optimisation.

2025 Trial Highlights by Crop

Cereals (Wheat Focus)

2025 trial-locations-wheat
Replicated Wheat Trial Locations

Active PRIME – Wheat

Replicated Australian trials continue to show improvements in early vigour, root development and final yield. Yield responses have remained consistent across rainfall zones, reinforcing the importance of early crop establishment and stress buffering.

2025 active-prime-wheat-australia

Active INFURROW – Wheat

In-furrow placement has delivered improved nutrient availability during critical early growth stages. Yield uplift has been particularly evident where early season stress limited root exploration.

Active BUILD – Wheat

Trial results show reduced visual herbicide setback and faster recovery post-application. Yield benefits were strongest in seasons where crops experienced stacked stress events.

Active GRAINFILL – Wheat

Applications targeting grain fill periods have supported improved thousand kernel weight (TKW) and yield stability.

Replicated Canola Trial Locations

Active INFURROW – Canola

Strong early establishment responses were observed, particularly in cooler sowing windows.

2025 active-infurrow-canola-australia

Active BUILD – Canola

Reduced stress expression during vegetative growth translated into improved biomass and pod set in several replicated trials.

2025 active-build-canola-australia

Active FLOWER – Canola

Pollination support applications demonstrated measurable yield improvements in open-pollinated systems, particularly where flowering conditions were variable.

Replicated Lentil Trial Locations

Active BUILD – Lentils

Improved stress tolerance during early growth stages resulted in stronger plant architecture and improved yield outcomes.

Looking Ahead to 2026

Trial work will continue to expand in 2026, with:

  • Increased site numbers.
  • Greater grower co-operator involvement.
  • Expanded pulse validation.
  • Continued economic analysis of ROI under Australian conditions.

Our focus remains the same: profitable, practical and scientifically validated solutions for Australian growers.
