Active ZM™

Active ZM™ is a foliar-applied zinc, manganese, and sulfur fertiliser solution that can alleviate nutrient deficiencies in crops.

Description

Active ZM™ is a foliar-applied micronutrient blend containing 9% Zinc (Zn), 4% Manganese (Mn), and 5% Sulfur (S), designed to support critical plant growth and development. Powered by Active AgriScience’s proprietary bioactive complex Intrinsic, Active ZM maximises nutrient efficiency and reduces stress to help plants achieve their full growth potential.

When to Use

Active ZM should be applied based on soil or tissue analysis, during periods of rapid growth, or when environmental conditions may limit micronutrient availability. Early foliar applications are especially beneficial under cool or wet conditions when soil uptake is restricted. Zinc and manganese levels should be tailored to crop needs, and testing is recommended to prevent over-application on sensitive crops like cereals.

For the best results, use the complete line of recommended Active AgriScience™ products for your crop.

Benefits

Active ZM Supports:

  • Enhanced Enzyme Activation: Supports key enzymatic processes for energy production and growth.
  • Robust Root and Leaf Development: Promotes stronger roots, larger leaves, and overall plant vigour.
  • Optimised Photosynthesis and Stress Tolerance: Improves chlorophyll production, plant defenses, and resilience to environmental stress.

How it Works

Active ZM is complexed (partially chelated) with citrates to enhance uptake and performance in both foliar and soil applications. Citrate complexes are highly soluble and form stable, plant-available nutrient forms that are readily absorbed through leaves and roots. This improved nutrient uptake supports vigorous plant growth, better stress resilience, and can contribute to increased yield and crop quality. Environmentally friendly and compatible with most crop protection and fertiliser programs, citrate-complexed micronutrients are an ideal choice for efficient, sustainable crop nutrition.

Citrates are tridentate chelants – they can form up to three bonds with a nutrient ion, creating a stable “chelate ring.” This multi-point attachment strengthens the bond and helps protect the nutrient from unwanted reactions. As a result, citrates improve nutrient stability and compatibility with a wide range of plant protection products.

While Active AgriScience stands behind the quality of our products, Active AgriScience cannot guarantee the same, or similar, yield results due the effects of variables outside of our control (soil conditions, weather, pests, diseases, tank mix partners, application rates, and errors in mixing and application). We encourage all prospective customers to run trials of our products before broad acreage adoption.
