ARM U™ 16% DMPP

A liquid additive for urea and UAN fertilisers that reduces nitrogen loss by inhibiting nitrification.

Description

Nitrogen fertiliser applied in certain conditions is prone to losses through nitrification leading to runoff, leaching, and denitrification (N₂O emissions). ARM U™ 16% DMPP slows down the nitrification process, thereby extending the availability of nitrogen in the soil and reducing fertiliser loss. By doing so, it ensures that plants have continuous access to this critical nutrient, fostering healthier growth and maximising yield potential.

When to Use

Whenever urea or UAN fertiliser is applied to soil.

Benefits

Slows Down the N Cycle
Slows the conversion of ammonium to nitrate, enhancing the efficiency of nitrogen fertilisers.

Limits Leaching and Run-off
Reduces nitrogen leaching and runoff by keeping nitrogen in the stable ammonium form longer.

Reduces N₂O Emissions
DMPP inhibits nitrification, reducing nitrous oxide emissions.

Improves Nitrogen-Use Efficiency
Maximises fertiliser efficiency, lowering overall costs by reducing the amount needed.

Add NBPT for Dual Protection
Can be mixed with ARM U™ 32% NBPT to inhibit all forms of nitrogen loss.

Less Product, More Impact
Requires less product per metric tonne of fertiliser compared to competitor brands.

How it Works

ARM U 16% DMPP contains 3,4-Dimethylpyrazole phosphate (DMPP), which inhibits nitrogen oxidation or nitrification by eliminating nitrosomonas and nitrobacter bacterial activity.

READ THE ENTIRE LABEL BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: 16.1% DMPP (3, 4-dimethylpyrazole phosphate).

INACTIVE INGREDIENTS: (83.9%) NMP (N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone), propylene glycol, emulsifier, preservative, dye.

BLENDING INSTRUCTIONS:

Blending into UREA-AMMONIUM NITRATE (UAN) SOLUTIONS: Use 0.35 L ARM U™ 16% DMPP/ 1000 kg UAN solution. Fill spray tank with half the desired amount of UAN, Measure the recommended quantity of ARM U™ 16% DMPP and add to the tank. Mix well. Add other products at this stage, if needed. Add the second half of the UAN solution. Continue mixing until well blended. Keep agitator running while mixing.

Blending into Urea: Use 0.6 L ARM U™ 16% DMPP/1000 kg Urea. For uniform blending, use a blender with impregnation equipment. Weigh the urea and transfer to blender. Add the required amount of ARM U™ 16% DMPP to the urea in the blender. Blend until the ARM U™ 16% DMPP is uniformly mixed into the urea. Do not add any other fertiliser materials until ARM U™ 16% DMPP is thoroughly distributed. If mixture appears wet or sticky, a drying agent may be added at this time. This product can be mixed with ARM U™ 32% NBPT to mitigate the losses from ammonia volatilisation along with nitrification and denitrification.

NOTE: Density = 1.07 grams / cubic centimeter at 20°C.
