Bradyrhizobium japonicum: A natural beneficial bacteria that colonizes soybean roots. It fixes nitrogen and makes it available to the plant.
Rhizobium leguminosarum: A natural beneficial bacteria that colonizes pea, lentil and other beans’ roots. It fixes nitrogen and makes it available to the plant.

How it Works

Active BOOST™ combines both Rhizobium and Bradyrhizobium inoculants and plant nutrients in an organic matrix that can be easily applied in any agricultural field. Active BOOST™ is ideal for soybean, peas, lentils and other bean crops as it contains both types of inoculants required to colonize legume roots and fix nitrogen in symbiosis. Active BOOST™ helps rebuild soil structure and microbiomes by providing beneficial bacteria, organic substrate, organic acids and nutrients. Due to its pelletized nature Active BOOST™ provides an easy application before, during and after seeding to enhance soil health.

Science & Research

INNOVATIVE SOLUTION COMBINES INOCULANTS, NUTRIENTS & ORGANIC COMPOUNDS INTO ONE EASY TO USE BIOGRANULE:

The proprietary manufacturing process of Active BOOST™ combines both soil bacteria and plant nutrients into one organic matrix. This matrix acts as a substrate for inoculants while providing a binding site for plant nutrients.

ENHANCE SOIL HEALTH & IMPROVE CROP YIELD ECONOMICALLY:

Soon after applying Active BOOST™, the inoculants and plant nutrients are slowly released into the soil. Plant roots absorb the nutrients and send signals inviting the inoculants to colonize legume roots for nitrogen fixation. Over time, the organic matrix decomposes into the soil while adding organic materials to feed the soil microbiome. Adding inoculants, nutrients and organic matter with Active BOOST™ enhances soil health which is critical to growing healthy crops and improving yield.

EXTENDED SHELF-LIFE FOR INOCULANTS:

Proprietary manufacturing process of Active BOOST™  allows microbes to thrive in the organic matrix by providing essential components for their functioning. This process enhances inoculants’ shelf-life up to 18 months. Third-party research conducted by New Era Ag Technologies Inc, Swan River Manitoba supports significant nodulation effects even after two years of manufacturing. In addition, plots that were treated with Active BOOST™ had better root growth.
