Active BANDIT
Active BANDIT™ is the ultimate solution to safeguard your nitrogen fertilizer investment with banding applications.
Active BANDIT™ is the ultimate solution to safeguard your nitrogen fertilizer investment with banding applications.
Developed to address the nitrogen loss challenges faced during banding applications, Active BANDIT™ is the ultimate solution to safeguard your nitrogen fertilizer investment.
Banding nitrogen fertilizer can lead to significant nitrogen loss via nitrification, especially for fall-applied nitrogen. The increased soil moisture in the spring causes nitrate leaching and creates anaerobic conditions that promote nitrous oxide emissions.
Active BANDIT utilizes advanced DMPP technology to combat nitrogen loss by inhibiting both nitrification and denitrification processes. By minimizing nitrogen loss, Active BANDIT maximizes nutrient availability within the root zone, promoting healthier plant growth and optimal yield outcomes.
Compatible with a range of nitrogen sources including urea and UAN, Active BANDIT seamlessly integrates into existing fertilizer programs, offering farmers flexibility and convenience.
Elevate your agricultural practices with Active BANDIT and experience the difference in nitrogen management efficiency, crop performance, and overall farm sustainability.
Recommended for banding applications of urea and UAN.
ALWAYS READ LABEL BEFORE USE.
Use 0.8 – 1 L of Active BANDIT per 1000 kg of urea.
Use 0.5 – 0.8 L of Active BANDIT per 1000 kg of UAN.
Active BANDIT™ contains 10% 3,4-Dimethylpyrazole phosphate which delays nitrogen oxidation or nitrification by inhibiting nitrosomonas and nitrobacter bacterial activity.
10% DMPP
NITRIFICATION INHIBITOR
A liquid fertilizer additive that controls the loss of nitrogen through nitrification from urea and urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) fertilizers.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: 10% DMPP (3, 4-dimethylpyrazole phosphate).
INACTIVE INGREDIENTS: (90%) NMP (N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone), propylene glycol, emulsifier, preservative, dye.
BLENDING INSTRUCTIONS: READ THE ENTIRE LABEL BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT.
Blending with UAN: Use 0.5 – 0.8 L of prepared mixture / 1000 kg of UAN solution. Fill spray tank with half the desired amount of UAN. Add the Active BANDIT™ mixture to the tank. Add other products at this stage, if needed. Add the second half of the UAN solution. Mix well. Keep agitator running while mixing.
Blending into Urea: Use 0.8 – 1 L of prepared mixture / 1000 kg of urea. For uniform blending, use a blender with impregnation equipment. Blend Active BANDIT™ / urea mixture thoroughly before adding other fertilizer materials; urea granules should be a uniform colour at this stage. If mixture is wet or sticky, a drying agent may be added at this time.
NOTE: Density = 9.1 lb per gallon (1.09 grams / cubic centimeter) at 20°C (68°F).
