Active PRIME™ DRY

Powdered planter-box micronutrients to support seed germination and root growth.

Description

Active PRIME™ DRY is a powdered micronutrient formulation applied directly to seed in the planter box, seed box, or seed tender at planting. It places chelated micronutrients in the seed zone, where they are available to the seedling early, and it needs no liquid treater or extra equipment.

Key Benefits

  • Early Root Support: Delivers micronutrients at planting to support strong root establishment.
  • Stronger Emergence: Provides early nutrition for more uniform emergence and early growth.
  • Early Stress Support: Helps seedlings manage early environmental and agronomic stress.
  • Efficient Nutrient Uptake: Chelated micronutrients placed at the seed zone for early availability.
  • Easy to Use: Applied as a dry powder through existing planter boxes.
  • Smooth Seed Flow: Graphite-based formula supports consistent planter performance.

When to Use

At planting, on corn, canola, and soybean seed.

How it Works

Active PRIME DRY is applied to seed as a dry powder at planting. Its chelated micronutrients (boron, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum and zinc) sit right at the seed zone. This helps early nutrient availability, supports germination and root growth, and helps seedlings get off to a more uniform start. The graphite-based formula keeps seed flowing smoothly through the planter.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: READ THE ENTIRE LABEL BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT. This product is a powdered micronutrient formulation intended for planter-box, seed-box, or seed-tender application at planting.

APPLICATION METHOD: Apply at planting directly to seed in the planter box, seed box, or seed tender to ensure uniform coverage prior to planting. Product may be applied alone or in combination with compatible seed treatments and agrochemicals.

APPLICATION RATES: Apply at the following rates per 22 kg (50 lb) of seed:
Corn: 50–75 g,
Canola: 50–125 g,
Soybean: 50–75 g.
Do not exceed recommended application rates.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS: To ensure uniform seed coverage, apply product in layers as seed is added to the planter box, seed box, or seed tender. Gently stir or tumble seed to evenly distribute the product. Dry powder applicator meters may also be used to apply the product evenly onto seed. Ensure all seeds are uniformly coated prior to planting.

Use this product based on soil and tissue analysis and in accordance with recommendations from a qualified agronomist or approved nutrient management program. Application rates exceeding recommendations may adversely affect seed performance.

COMPATIBILITY: This product is compatible with most fertilizers, seed treatments, and agrochemicals commonly used in planter-box applications. Conduct a small-scale compatibility test prior to use. When used with other products, follow all label directions and restrictions for each product.
